Jan. 2, 2011 (Asheville NC). Mary Storms has been renamed to the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Association of Staffing Professionals (NCASP). She will serve as the statewide secretary for a two-year term.

Being on the NCASP Board allows me to work with some of the most reputable and experienced recruiters in the state”
Storms is the owner of STORMS Associates, a Wilmington-area executive search firm that specializes in finding technology sales professionals across the U.S.A. She joined the NCASP Board in 2005. From 2009-2010, she was its Director of Communications and Editor of Staffing Now, a bi-monthly, 24-page e-magazine. In 2010, the American Staffing Associationrecognized Staffing Now as an exemplary publication for employment associations in other states. Jan. 24, 2011 (Durham NC) Mary Storms was named 2010 Ambassador
of the Year for the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) at its annual meeting in Durham
today.
Storms, owner of recruiting firm STORMS Associates, is a sales recruiter
who works with technology companies across the USA.
NCTA is the statewide advocacy association for its 420-plus members and for the NC technology community in general. Storms is one of its Ambassadors, the volunteers who help develop and support NCTA’s new members.
The Ambassador of the Year presentation was a double surprise for Storms. After NCTA CEO Brooks Raiford presented her the award, he led the crowd of about 400 technology and business leaders in a round of “Happy Birthday.”
“It was definitely a memorable birthday,” Storms said, “With this type of recognition and 400 people singing to me.”
